Job summary

WM seeks a CDL driver to operate heavy-duty trucks for waste collection and disposal across residential, commercial, and roll-off routes. You will back up, maneuver, and load containers while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes on-time service, clear communication with dispatch, and careful equipment operation. Required are a CDL A or B with air-brake endorsement, valid 18+ eligibility, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B with air-brake endorsement required.
• CDL experience and safe driving record.
• Ability to read/write/speak English well for interaction and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-equipped vehicles following safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Back up and maneuver vehicles in urban and residential areas.
• Dump and secure waste/recyclables, maintain cleanliness at customer sites.
