Job summary

GFL is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and courteously collect solid waste and recyclables on curbside and backdoor routes, operating a residential/recycling truck and loading cargo efficiently. You will perform pre-trip inspections, report issues, maintain route quality, and follow safety rules while serving customers.

CDL is required, high school diploma is preferred, and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (desirable).
• Valid Commercial Driver's License required.
• Ability to safely operate a waste collection vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on the specified route.
• Load waste/recyclables into the vehicle and ensure proper containment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
