Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works, with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for CMV operators.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a refuse collection truck on pre-established residential routes.
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintains the vehicle and reports issues.
• Ensures waste is collected and transferred properly; uses proper collection procedures.
• Maintains written records and daily reports per company and regulatory requirements.
• Complies with DOT/state requirements for CMVs.
• Supervises helpers on the designated route.
• Attends required training courses and stays up to date with technology used by Waste Pro.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
