Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL drivers. The Residential Driver operates refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, performs pre/post trip checks, and oversees helpers on the route. A $10,000 driver award is offered to qualifying drivers.

Responsibilities include safe driving, on-time pickups, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness, while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies. Must be able to communicate in English and work the specified route schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state; clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements.
• Hearing in normal range with or without correction.
• Vision in normal range with or without correction.
• Ability to drive refuse trucks and follow safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route; collects and dumps garbage and recyclables.
• Provides courteous and expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIR.
• Maintains a clean truck and conducts basic maintenance as needed.
• Prepares and submits required company and regulatory reports.
• Oversees workers on the designated route.
