Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for Energetic CDL Drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes. You will ensure courteous, efficient service while maintaining safety standards and completing required DOT documentation.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate in English. You will lead helpers on the route and follow strict safety procedures daily.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements.
• Hearing in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• Sight in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Normal range of body motion.
• Operate a front-end/side/rear/roll-off refuse truck with defensive driving practices.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Maintain written records and service responses.
• Speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive on a pre-established route and collect/dump garbage and recyclables.
• Provide courteous, expeditious service to customers.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward company goals and customers.
• Ensure proper pickup and transfer of refuse; assist with bags/containers as needed.
• Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and safety paperwork.
• Keep truck clean; inspect/maintain under-hood and tires.
• Assist with loading/unloading and routine cleanup tasks.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documents.
• Supervise helpers on the route.
• Comply with all DOT/state requirements for CMV operators.
