Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver-CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous, complete waste removal services. You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards, reporting any defects daily.

Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks is preferred, with a Class B CDL and air brakes endorsement. The role emphasizes timely service and professional, customer-focused interactions on each route.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety policies and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the truck along the assigned route and service customers.
• Operate controls to load refuse and dispose at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Complete required route productivity sheets and reports.
