Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Relief Driver with a CDL-B to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services in Wisconsin. The role emphasizes safety, route adherence, and courteous customer interaction on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the truck along the route and service customers as identified on the route sheet.
• Load and unload refuse following safety policies and dispose at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues to maintain timely service.
• Tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor for unacceptable waste.
• Maintain vehicle condition and complete required route and safety reports.
