Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate Openings for Energetic CDL Drivers. Waste Pro operates refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes picking up garbage, yard waste, or recycling with emphasis on safety and customer service.

CDL required; 21+; English communication; physical stamina and driving record must meet standards. This role involves pre/post-trip inspections, vehicle maintenance, and supervising helpers.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
• Requires a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must understand refuse collection policies and DOT requirements.
• Ability to communicate in English well enough for customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Drive on a pre-established route in a safe, timely manner and collect/dump garbage and recyclables.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a distinguishable level of service.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward company and municipal goals.
• Ensure proper pickup and tagging of improper containers.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections per company and DOT guidelines.
• Keep the truck clean, wash weekly, inspect under hood and tires.
• Assist with manual cleanup of scattered refuse and operate hydraulics.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documents.
• Oversee helpers on the vehicle during the route.
• Comply with DOT and state requirements for CMV operators.
