Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. seeks a Grapple Driver to operate refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned routes, picking up garbage, yard waste, and recycling. You will supervise helpers on the route and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

The role requires a CDL (Class A or B), a clean driving record, and at least 1 year of CDL-related experience. You must communicate in English, comply with DOT regulations, and be able to work 8–12 hour shifts in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL (Class A or B) valid for the state of work.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.
• Able to read/write English and communicate with customers and dispatch.
• At least 1 year of CDL-vehicle operation experience within the past 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and collects/dumps garbage and recyclables.
• Provides courteous customer service and maintains a positive attitude toward goals.
• Ensures proper pickup and transfer of waste; operates on residential routes.
• Performs daily pre/post trip inspections and DOT-compliant safety checks.
• Maintains and cleans the truck; handles manual refuse cleanup as needed.
• Prepares and submits required reports and documents.
• Oversees helpers on the vehicle during the route.
• Complies with DOT/state requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
• May be required to work during emergency situations.
