Job summary

Waste Pro, USA is seeking a Grapple Driver to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, picking up garbage, yard waste, and recycling. The role includes supervising helpers on the route, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and records.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B for the state of operation.
At least 1 year of CDL vehicle operation in the past 7 years.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Familiarity with DOT/State requirements for commercial motor vehicles.
Ability to read and communicate in English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

Safely drives on pre-established routes and collects garbage, yard waste, or recyclables.
Oversees helpers on the route and ensures proper service delivery.
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and DVIR as per Waste Pro guidelines.
Maintains and cleans the truck; performs basic pumping and fluid checks.
Completes required reports and documents for compliance.
Complies with DOT and state regulations for commercial vehicle operators.
May be required to work during emergencies.
