Job summary

Waste Pro Meridian is seeking a Grapple Driver to operate refuse collection trucks on pre-assigned and special routes. You will supervise helpers on the route, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and help ensure safety and efficiency on all pickups.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate with customers and supervisors. Physical requirements include lifting and operating in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A or B CDL and clean driving record.
• Experience operating refuse collection vehicles preferred.
• Must communicate clearly with customers and supervisor.
• Ability to follow DOT and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives on assigned routes and collects garbage and recyclables.
• Oversees helpers on the route and performs pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and reports issues per policy.
• Completes required reports and documents.
