Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a CDL driver to deliver and replace refuse containers while providing courteous service to customers and maintaining safety standards. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, keep records, and support route operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates understand refuse collection policies, hold a valid CDL, and can communicate in English with customers and team members; you will follow a designated route and comply with DOT guidelines and company

Qualifications

• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Follow a designated refuse collection route or work schedule
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch, and supervisors, understand highway and traffic signals, and be able to make legible entries on paperwork.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction; See in the normal visual range with or without correction
• Must have a valid driver's license for the state in which the position works. Requires a clean driving record.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position operates.

Responsibilities

• Drive Container Delivery truck to replace or repair containers.
• Provide courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of refuse operation.
• Exhibits a positive attitude towards company, customer, and municipal goals.
• Answers questions for customers and directs them to contact Customer Service or Sales Representative for additional information.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on vehicle.
• Perform Daily Pre and Post Trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines.
• Complete Safety Lane activity and DVIR daily in accordance with Waste Pro safety lane guidelines.
• Inspect/Clean Truck: Lift hood, inspect under the hood, walk around and check under carriage; pump gas, check fluid levels and air tires.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit required company and regulation-mandated reports and documents.
• Performs other tasks as required; assist other routes, attend events, or deliver bins/carts; comply with all DOT and State requirements.
