Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. in Meridian, MS is seeking a Grapple Driver to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure safe loading of garbage and recyclables.

You will supervise helpers on the route, provide courteous customer service, and comply with DOT rules. This role requires a Class A or B CDL, 21+ years of age, and the ability to work in varied weather, lifting and repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL valid for the state where the position works.
• Requires a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of CDL-operating experience within the past 7 years.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Understand and follow refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes and special routes.
• Supervise helpers on the route and ensure safe, courteous service to customers.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIR in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain truck cleanliness; assist with unloading at landfills or transfer stations.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documents as required.
