Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Recycling Driver to service assigned routes, hauling recyclable materials to a processing plant. The role requires rigorous physical effort including lifting up to 75 pounds multiple times daily and frequent entry/exit of the truck.

Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL and be comfortable working nights and weekends, with a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Ability to enter/exit the truck 300–800 times per day.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of mechanics of trucks.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck safely per regulations and policies.
• Provide recycling removal services on assigned routes.
• Replace recycling receptacles at curb or designated area.
• Maintain route sheets and maps.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log DVIRs.
