Rumpke is seeking a dedicated Rear Load Truck Driver to join our team in Medora, IN. You will service customer routes, haul waste and recycling materials, and perform routine truck maintenance and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand maps.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.
• Ability to drive while pulling a trailer.
• Must read and speak English well for safety and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–600 times per day, depending on route.
• Move containers from enclosures or inside buildings as needed.
• Replace receptacles neatly at curb or designated area.
• Clean spills and maintain site and truck cleanliness.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Operate other types of trucks as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
