Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Residential Rear Load Driver in Georgetown, OH. You will service customers by collecting waste and recyclables using various trucks, following safety and route guidelines.

Responsibilities include frequent truck entry/exit, loading, and maintaining logs, while providing professional customer service and ensuring truck cleanliness. CDL and DOT card required; 19+ years old; standard background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, in a safe and compliant way.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck approximately 300-500 times per day.
• May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
• Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows.
• Maintain and update route & driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body and ensure cleanliness of truck cab.
• Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
