Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Front Load Driver in Georgetown, OH to service commercial customers on assigned routes, hauling waste or recycling to disposal sites. The role requires safely operating trucks, performing inspections, and maintaining route accuracy while interacting with customers professionally.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system.
• Required to enter/exit the truck approximately 100-150 times per day.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with customers.
• Must read and speak English well enough to follow directions and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks in a safe manner to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.
• Visually inspect front load containers for safe dumping procedures.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
