Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver Trainee to begin a structured CDL training program, with the goal of moving into a Driver role across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off operations.

The program includes classroom study, on-road training, and resources to help you pass the CDL examination, followed by twelve months of employment after CDL attainment. Deployment occurs across our national network in the United States.

Qualifications

• No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial drivers’ license.

Responsibilities

• Complete Republic Services’ CDL training program, including classroom study, on-route training, and resources to take the CDL exam.
• After CDL is obtained, perform Driver duties in one of the company’s lines of business (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Roll-Off).
• Learn to inspect the vehicle before and after operation, ensure safety equipment is functional, and follow safety policies.
