Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hires a PennDOT CDL Operator A to maintain state roads and support a maintenance crew. You will operate heavy equipment and assist with daily tasks to ensure safe travel for the public.

Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL with air brake and manual transmission restrictions removed, and relevant training or equivalent experience. The role is full-time in Crawford County, with no telework option.

Qualificações

• Graduation from a Commercial Driver's License Training School or an equivalent program.
• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or equivalent training.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted.

Responsabilidades

• Operate trucks, loaders, and other equipment to support roadway and bridge maintenance.
• Maintain CDL and complete required checks and certifications for safe equipment use.
• Perform flagging duties to guide traffic and ensure safety on active work sites.
• Use tools to clear brush, clean culverts, and repair barriers; keep equipment in good condition.
