Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is hiring Mixer Operators to deliver ready mix concrete to construction sites while providing exceptional customer service. You’ll operate concrete mixer trucks, perform load/mix checks, and ensure on-time deliveries with safety as a priority.

Ideal candidates hold a Class A or B CDL and a current DOT Medical Card, have a safe driving record, and can lift up to 100 lbs in all weather. Come join a growing team with strong benefits and home daily schedules.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and SRM values.
• Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, 'Go-Getter' attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous mixer operator or ready mix delivery experience is a plus.
• Willingness to complete SRM pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver concrete.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specs and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Maintain delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
