Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is hiring Mixer Operators to deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential sites. You’ll operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL), ensure on-time deliveries, and provide top-notch customer service while upholding safety standards.

Must have an active CDL, DOT Medical Card, and be able to lift up to 100 lbs. We offer home daily schedules, competitive pay, and strong benefits as part of a growing national network.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong commitment to exceptional customer service and representing SRM’s values on every job.
• Physically able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and work in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, “Go-Getter” attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience as a Mixer Operator, Ready Mix Driver, or in construction delivery is a plus—but we welcome motivated newcomers ready to learn!
• Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL) to safely transport and deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM Concrete with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
