Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a skilled Mixer Operator (CDL driver) to deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential sites. You will represent SRM at job sites, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain a safety-focused, service-oriented approach.

This role offers home daily, no Sunday work, competitive pay with overtime after 8 hours, and comprehensive benefits. A Class A or B CDL with current DOT Medical Card is required along with a proven safe driving record.

Qualifications

• Active Class A or B CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service mentality and ability to represent SRM values.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in all weather.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive 'Go-Getter' attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience as a Mixer Operator or Ready Mix Driver is a plus; newcomers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to safely transport and deliver ready mix to job sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service at every site with professionalism.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and SRM safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
