Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL is required and must be valid.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to mechanically collect solid waste and take to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans; roll 3-4-yard cans into position for dumping as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit a vehicle condition report at shift end.
• Interact courteously with customers and respond to requests; notify supervisor of issues requiring action.
• Maintain a DOT logbook, daily route/productivity sheet, and vehicle condition report as required.
