Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks serving multiple residential and commercial routes, removing and transporting waste and recyclables per contracts. You will service multiple customers daily, transfer loads to appropriate facilities, and adhere to all safety and operational procedures.

The role requires a valid CDL, 1 year of truck driving experience or CDL school, and the ability to follow routes using maps and GPS while maintaining logs and safety checks.

Qualifications

• CDL license or CDL school certificate required.
• Minimum one year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL training completed.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria and demonstrate safe operation of the truck.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-load or ancillary equipment along routes to collect solid waste.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers along the route and respond to requests.
• Maintain and submit logbooks and route productivity sheets as required by law or policy.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
