Job summary

GFL Environmental, Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to service multiple residential and commercial routes, collecting waste and recyclables and transporting them to transfer stations. This role involves driving front-load equipment and complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

The position requires a valid CDL and at least one year of driving experience (or a CDL school certificate). Ability to interact with customers and follow route directions is essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety sensitive functions per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks along designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables.
• Open containers and prepare for dumping; move cans as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and log reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and address questions or requests.
• Maintain logs and vehicle condition reports as required by law and policy.
