Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL driver to operate roll-off trucks and related equipment in Wilmer, Texas. You will collect waste on assigned routes, complete daily logs and reports, and communicate vehicle issues promptly.

This role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school, and a commitment to safety. You will help maintain route quality, perform inspections, attend safety meetings, and may work overtime.

Qualifications

• CDL required with clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to meet safety sensitive functions per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off truck and related equipment to collect waste.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required reports.
• Report mechanical problems immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain route quality as directed by management.
• Follow safety standards and company vehicle operation rules.
• Communicate hazards to supervisor before tasks.
• Keep vehicle clean and perform routine maintenance.
• Record services performed and assist with routing efficiency.
• Attend safety and branch meetings; overtime may be required.
