Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to service multi-family and commercial routes, transporting waste or recyclables to appropriate facilities. The role includes daily route execution, pre/post-trip inspections, and courteous customer interaction.

The driver will operate front-load equipment, open containers, and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining logs and route productivity. A CDL and driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of 1 year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely operate truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks on designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables.
• Open containers and roll cans to dumping areas.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervision.
