Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a dependable waste collection driver for routes in Mayfield, KY. You will operate a commercial waste/recycling vehicle, load materials, and complete daily documentation while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have a Class 3 CDL and at least one year of commercial driving experience. Overtime may be required; company benefits include PTO, health plans, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must possess a Class 3 Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Commercial Waste / Recycling collection vehicle on assigned route.
• Load solid waste or recyclables into the rear or side of the truck.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Identify and tag prohibited waste items and remove them from the cart or bin.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues to supervisor.
