Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Roll-Off Driver in Kentucky to safely service industrial and residential routes, collect debris and recyclables, and transport to disposal facilities.

The role emphasizes customer courtesy, safety, and regulatory compliance while supporting GFL’s sustainable goals. Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, accurate logs, precise route navigation, and maintaining site cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired but not required.
• Must possess valid CDL and be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment; practice safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Drive a roll-off truck along designated routes to collect/exchange/deliver containers and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and at customer sites, and ensure safe dumping operations.
• Maintain DOT logbook, route productivity sheets, and post-trip inspections as required by law or policy.
