Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a CDL-B Driver to safely operate collection trucks and provide reliable waste removal services to customers in the United States. The role requires pre- and post-trip inspections, strict adherence to safety standards, and strong customer communication.

The driver will follow routes, load refuse, and complete daily reports while maintaining productivity and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck along route and service each customer.
• Operate manual/auto controls to lift and load refuse and dispose at the facility.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers and coworkers daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required.
• Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.
• Complete route productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports daily.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
• Participate in the company’s ReSOP program.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate good time management and follow-through to meet schedules.
