Job summary

The role requires a valid CDL, on-the-road experience, and the ability to deliver instruction across various driving simulations and real-world scenarios. This is a full-time hourly position at our Annandale campus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills mandatory for classroom instruction and student interaction.
• Two years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last five years.
• Valid CDL; Class level required for position.
• MVR check and background check with drug screening.
• DOT physical and DOT drug screen required; Medical Certificate maintained.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and cloud-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes all assigned classes at start and end times.
• Maintain safe environment for students and staff.
• Fulfills administrative duties and maintains student records.
• Train students in trucking/driving, conduct tests, and evaluate progress.
• Instruct on pre-trip inspections, air-brake tests, and driving maneuvers.
