Job summary

US LBM is seeking a CDL Driver I in New Mexico to safely deliver construction materials to job sites, locally and regionally as needed. You will operate Class A or B trucks, perform DOT inspections, manage logs, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years CDL experience with lumber or building materials. Forklift operation and strong customer service are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years CDL experience preferred; basic CDL with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
  • Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; may require inter-state travel.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate with customers and dispatch.
  • Load, secure, and verify orders before departure and on delivery.
  • Maintain DOT logs and comply with HOS regulations.
  • Deliver and unload materials; assist in unloading and inventory at job sites.
  • Operate a truck-mounted forklift to load/unload and transport materials.
