Job summary

US LBM is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to job sites and other locations. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and comply with DOT regulations. You may perform inter-state deliveries and assist in loading/unloading at sites.

The role requires a Class A or B CDL, basic math and communication skills, and the ability to operate a truck-mounted forklift. CDL experience with lumber and building materials is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers preferred.
• 1-2 years CDL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; may require city-based and interstate travel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provide professional customer service and relay messages to customers on site.
• Load, secure, and unload materials; verify order accuracy before departure and on delivery.
