Job summary

US LBM is seeking a CDL Driver I to transport lumber and building materials to job sites and other locations. The role requires maintaining a Class A or B CDL license, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and adhering to DOT hours-of-service rules.

You will also load/unload, verify orders, and provide strong customer service on-site. Responsibilities include safe operation of trucks, inter-state or city deliveries, and supporting warehouse stocking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Deliveries to active construction sites and completed locations; city and inter-state travel may be required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism on job sites.
• Organize and secure loads; verify orders before departure and on delivery.
• Maintain DOT logs of driving hours, on-duty time, and rest periods.
