Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division is hiring a Driver - Residential to operate a front/back/rear-load waste collection truck on assigned routes. The role requires a valid Commercial Driver's License and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report mechanical issues, maintain route quality, and comply with safety standards while serving customers on daily routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential / recycling collection truck on assigned routes.
• Load waste into the vehicle and compact as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and daily reports.
• Maintain route quality and safety standards; comply with safety policies.
• Report accidents or incidents to supervisor and assist with safety meetings.
