Job summary

GFL - Sewer Technologies Division in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Driver - Residential. Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on designated routes, load waste, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness throughout the day.

You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow safety standards, and coordinate with supervisors. Must have CDL or be in CDL school; GED desired; able to lift and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school completion.
• Must meet safety-sensitive functions criteria.
• Ability to safely drive and operate the vehicle and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling collection truck on designated routes.
• Load solid waste and recyclables into the vehicle.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports.
• Maintain route quality standards and safety compliance.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor and mechanic.
