Job summary

Jefferson Lines is seeking a Corporate Recruiter in Minneapolis to lead full-cycle recruitment for CDL drivers across multiple locations. You will collaborate with station managers and operations to ensure qualified drivers, mechanics, and staff support safe, reliable transportation services.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced with CDL driver recruitment, capable of managing multiple priorities while building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of recruiting experience, preferably CDL/transport.
• Experience recruiting CDL drivers or familiarity with CDL licensing and DOT requirements.
• Ability to manage recruiting across multiple locations/markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal stakeholders.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies for CDL drivers across multiple depot locations.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
• Build and maintain location-specific candidate pipelines to anticipate hiring needs.
• Provide timely, professional communications to candidates throughout the process.
• Develop local market hiring strategies based on wages, competition, and terminal needs.
• Partner with location managers and operations to align staffing priorities and vacancies.
• Ensure compliance with company hiring requirements across locations.
• Track recruiting metrics and identify bottlenecks to improve performance.
• Support driver retention and employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct stay and exit interviews and share insights with leadership.
• Research local labor markets to evaluate competitiveness of compensation.
