Job summary

Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM, is seeking a CDL Driver I to transport materials to job sites and warehouses. You will maintain DOT logs, perform pre-/post-trip inspections, and ensure safety and on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Class A or B license, experience with flatbeds/tractors, and the ability to load/unload, load secure loads, and assist in warehouse stocking. Pays $28/hour with a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and drivers.
• Experience handling lumber/building materials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Delivers to active construction sites and stores; may require inter-state travel.
• Performs DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintains logs.
• Loads/unloads materials; ensures order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Operates truck-mounted forklift and assists in warehouse stocking.
