Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek’s, divisions of US LBM Holdings, LLC, offer a path in building materials with strong local ties. The Non-CDL Driver I is an entry-level role focused on safe, efficient transport of raw materials and smaller orders to job sites, sometimes requiring state certification but not a CDL.

You’ll perform basic orders checks, secure loads, complete delivery tickets, and provide excellent customer service while following supervisor guidance and maintaining safe yard operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of driving truck experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic math and read orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer satisfaction.
• Check orders for accuracy.
• Organize and secure load.
• Complete daily equipment inspection.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Record all merchandise returned by truck.
• Complete necessary paperwork such as delivery tickets and credit slips.
• Assist supervisor and other employees as assigned.
• May be subject to DOT and FMCSA jurisdictions and restrictions.
