Job summary

Riddle Village Retirement Community in Media, PA is seeking a Full-Time CDL Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents, guests, and designated visitors in a lifecare setting. You will operate facility vehicles to local destinations, maintain logs, and ensure the interior and exterior of vehicles are clean and presentable.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA CDL, a verifiable safe driving record, and a genuine interest in geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License as currently required by the State of Pennsylvania
• Must have a verifiable safe driving record
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area
• Must have a genuine interest in geriatric care and believe in and uphold the philosophy of the facility.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance and demonstrate a courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner at all times.
• Previous transportation experience is preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Must have excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• The Driver provides safe, timely transportation to residents, guests, and designated visitors.
• Drives facility vehicles to local restaurants, shopping centers, physician offices, and other locations, as well as events as scheduled.
• Maintains vehicle logs, purchases gas, and keeps preventive maintenance and inspection schedules current.
• Performs minor vehicular maintenance and ensures interiors and exteriors are clean and presentable.
• May assist at the Concierge desk and perform other duties as assigned.
