Riddle Village Retirement Community in Media, PA is seeking a Full-Time CDL Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents, guests, and designated visitors in a lifecare setting. You will operate facility vehicles to local destinations, maintain logs, and ensure the interior and exterior of vehicles are clean and presentable.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA CDL, a verifiable safe driving record, and a genuine interest in geriatric care.

• Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License as currently required by the State of Pennsylvania
• Must have a verifiable safe driving record
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area
• Must have a genuine interest in geriatric care and believe in and uphold the philosophy of the facility.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance and demonstrate a courteous, friendly, patient, and congenial manner at all times.
• Previous transportation experience is preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
• Must have excellent customer service skills

About The Driver Position

The Driver provides safe, timely transportation to residents, guests, and designated visitors. This entails driving facility vehicles to local restaurants, shopping centers, physician offices, and other various locations, as well as special activities and events, as scheduled and assigned. The Driver shall maintain vehicle logs, purchase gas, and keep preventative maintenance and inspection schedules current for all facility vehicles. The Driver must perform minor vehicular maintenance as needed and ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicles are kept clean and presentable at all times. This can include washing vehicles. The Driver may be asked to provide general assistance at the Concierge desk and perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned by authorized personnel or as required to meet emergency or other specific situations. The Driver will work in well-maintained, clean, and modern vehicles and may also work in a well-lit, well-ventilated building. The Driver may work during the day and night, and in varied weather conditions. The Driver will be subject to walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting. He/she may also come in contact with chemicals associated with the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
