Job summary

Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community, seeks a Full-Time CDL Driver to join our team. The Driver provides safe, timely transportation to residents, guests, and visitors, driving to local sites and events in facility vehicles.

The role requires a PA CDL, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a verifiable safe driving record. Previous transportation experience is preferred and duties may include assisting at the Concierge desk and occasional lifting or maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License as required by Pennsylvania.
• Must have a verifiable safe driving record.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the metropolitan and surrounding area.
• Must have a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the facility's philosophy.
• Previous transportation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely transportation to residents, guests, and designated visitors.
• Drive facility vehicles to local restaurants, shopping centers, physician offices, and other locations.
• Maintain vehicle logs, purchase gas, and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean and presentable at all times (including washing).
• Provide general assistance at the Concierge desk as needed and perform other duties.
• Work in well-maintained vehicles and in well-lit, ventilated buildings; day and night shifts are possible.
• May be required to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Follow safety procedures and handle chemicals used for vehicle maintenance.
