Job summary

QXO, Inc is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A or B) in Provo to transport building materials safely and efficiently. The role includes loading, unloading, and ensuring compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, with potential exposure to oversized or specialized components.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, a valid CDL, and a readiness to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting or carrying products over 75 lbs as needed.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe loading/unloading environment.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery.
