Job summary

QXO, headquartered in Solon, Ohio, is seeking an experienced CDL-B driver to join our field operations. You will load, transport, and unload building products, perform safety checks, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities include pre-inspecting trucks, handling heavy loads, and adhering to DOT regulations. Outdoor work, team collaboration, and a strong safety mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B CDL license
• Minimum 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• NCCCO Certification and knuckleboom truck experience required
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect sites for safe loading/unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely deliveries
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Must have NCCCO Certification and knuckleboom truck experience
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
