Job summary

QXO, a leading building products distributor and installer, is seeking drivers for touch-freight and site loading tasks across the US. You will pre-inspect, load, and ensure safe operations while coordinating with dispatch to meet delivery timelines. Valid CDL A or B and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience are required.

Knuckle Boom experience and NCCCO are preferred. This role involves outdoor work in all weather and requires a strong safety mindset with PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A or B CDL in good standing.
• Knuckle Boom experience; NCCCO preferred.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
