Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL A driver to join our team in a role focused on safe delivery and accurate loading. You will inspect trucks, load materials, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely, compliant transport of building products.

Applicants should have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, operate heavy equipment with a manual transmission, and work outdoors in all weather. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable performance.

What you'll do:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
