Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products seeking a CDL driver to support loading, hauling, and delivery operations. You will perform touch-freight tasks, inspect trucks and loads, and ensure on-site safety while coordinating with dispatch for timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a valid Class A CDL, 12 months of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Benefits include health coverage and paid training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting/moving products over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What you'll do:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE

What you'll bring:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
