Job summary

QXO is seeking a skilled truck driver to join our loading team. This role involves touch-freight, loading and delivering building materials, and ensuring load accuracy.

You will work on-site and coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules. Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL in good standing, have at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, be 21 or older, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear PPE.
