Job summary

Lansing Building Products in Nashville, TN is seeking a CDL Driver to join our team. The role splits time between delivering materials to job sites and supporting the warehouse, starting around 7:00 AM and ending around 4:30 PM with generally no weekend work (location variations apply).

Qualifications

• CDL B or A license required.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement.
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service.
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse.
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and crews at job sites.
• Provides exceptional service to Lansing customers and strives to improve service.
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform other functions such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales.

CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)

CDL Driver Responsibilities:

• Lives the mission statement
• Actsas a front-line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service
• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries
• Interacts with customers and or crews at job sites
• Provides exceptional serviceto each Lansing customer…and constantly strive to improve that level of service
• Keeps warehouse clean and orderly
• This is a "get-the-job-done" kind of position...you may be asked to perform other functions notparticularly addressed in this posting, such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.

CDL Driver Qualifications:

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position
• CDL Driver must have a clean driving recordAbility to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds
• Experience withbuilding productsis very helpful
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude
• At leastoneyear ofdriving experience
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck
