Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a CDL Driver in Texas to join our team. Responsibilities include balancing deliveries with warehouse tasks, starting around 7:00 AM and ending around 4:30 PM, with little to no weekend work.

You must hold a CDL B or A, maintain a clean driving record, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience are a plus. Lansing offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CDL B (or A) license is required for this position.
• Driver must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency and focus -- and to work as a contributing member of a larger team.
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.

• Splits time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse
• Uses a moffett forklift to make deliveries

• This is a get-the-job-done kind of position; you may be asked to perform other functions not specifically addressed.

HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
